Very important is a home loss ofCaneros against Metros on Wednesday night. Host Caneros were defeated by Metros in La Romana 94-77 . Naturalized American forward Jordan Geronimo (198-2001, college: Maryland) nailed 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and Jhery Matos (196-1996, college: Charlotte) accounted for 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Metros players scored in double figures. Eusebio Suero came up with 21 points and Yeison Colome (190-1996) added 10 points and 8 assists respectively for Caneros in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
